2010..

Time has as usual been flying past. Stephen is growing up so fast. He is now a full Black belt and First Dan in karate. He passed his bronze Duke of Edinburgh and has signed up to do the silver. GCSE exams are looming and he is becoming a lovely young man. Michael is keeping us on our toes as usual. He loved being back at school and has decided that Maths, Science and Spanish are his subjects of choice. He was full of life and bounce when he went back in Sept. Unfortunately when we started the new drug regime it took it out of him a bit.

Christmas day was great. The kids were generally pleased with the pressies from Santa. Then things took a sharp turn down hill. Michael was in hospital again from Boxing day until New Years eve with another chest infection. Poor Stephen's birthday was a bit of a non event. He did get a home baked lemon cake though. Anyway it is obvious the new treatment regime is not working and Michael once again frightened the living daylights out of us by not taking in enough oxygen. But I am determined to coin a new phrase, " Doing a Michael " because yet again he has come back from the brink. He is still under the weather with a "smokers" cough. Not that this stops him playing on the computer. We still went to see Strictly Come Dancing Live in Liverpool.

The rather snowy weather has also given Michael the idea that he would like a wheelchair that goes on snow! So once the cough improves we will be off to an indoor snow dome to have a go at that.

As for Phil and I, well lets say Phil's hair is getting scarcer and mine would be grayer, thank goodness for hair dyes!
